ALLYSON FERRARA is a filmmaker in the Hudson Valley. A graduate from the State University of New Paltz, Allyson has been working on videos and various digital media projects for nearly two decades. With a keen eye, inventive artistry, and a thorough understanding of technology, Ferrara aims to pursue her goal of creating, collaborating, and sharing the world with others through the view of a lens.
Having been a one-person crew for the majority of her personal projects and freelance work, Ferrara is a force to have on any project, being proficient in directing, cinematography, editing, lighting, sound, and photography. She has created shorts, promotional videos, music videos, and various other media.
Aside from video work, Allyson Ferrara is also the founder and director of THE NEW PALTZ FILM FESTIVAL and has created a Filmmaking for Kids program at Unison Arts Center.
